ROHIT SHARMA: A MAN OF DOUBLE CENTURY
रोहित शर्मा आज सिर्फ नाम नहीं बल्कि विश्व के सबसे बेहतरीन बल्लेबाजों में से एक है ,और आज इनकी गिनती दुनिया के सबसे धाकड़ बल्लेबाजो में होती है। नागपुर में जन्मे ,रोहित २० साल की उम्र में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट में कदम रखने वाले आज अपनी अलग मुकाम हासिल की है ,और इसी वजह से फैंस इन्हे प्यार से रो RO -HIT MAN भी बुलाते है। आज 30 अप्रैल को 31 साल के हो गए।
रोहित दुनियाभर के क्रिकेट प्रेमियों के बीच अपनी तेजतर्रार बैटिंग की इमेज बनायीं है और ऐसे कई रिकॉर्ड है जिसे तोडना किसी भी बल्लेबाज के लिए सपने जैसा भी हो सकता है। इसमें से एक है 264 रन की पारी जो इन्होने श्रीलंका के खिलाफ बनाया था। आयरलैंड के खिलाफ 2007 में करियर शुरू करने वाले रोहित को असली पहचान महेंद्र सिंह धोनी की कप्तानी में मिला। और इन्होने कई बार बोला भी है कि उनका करियर बनाने में धोनी का सबसे बड़ा हाथ है।
2 नवम्बर 2013 को ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ 209 रन की पारी खेल कर अपना पहला और सचिन ,सहवाग के बाद तीसरा दोहरा शतक लगाया। उसके बाद श्रीलंका के खिलाफ दो और दोहरा शतक लगाकर वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड अपने नाम किया।
रोहित शर्मा का नाम T20 INTERNATIONAL में सबसे तेज़ शतक सयुंक्त रूप से डेविड मिलर के साथ (35 BALL) पर है। इनके नाम IPL में भी एक खास रिकॉर्ड दर्ज है ये एक ऐसे एकलौते खिलाडी है जो IPL की 4 विजेता टीमों की ओर से खेल चुके है सीजन 2 में डेक्कन चार्जेस की टीम से (2009), व अपनी कप्तानी में मुंबई इंडियन्स की तरफ से (2013, 2015, 2017) खिताब जीता चुके है।
इनके लिए सबसे बड़ा कॉम्पलिमेंट तब था जब क्रिकेट के भगवान सचिन तेंदुलकर ने कहा था कि इनके क्रिकेट में मेरी झलक दिखती है। 2003-04 में इन्होने रोहित को जूनियर क्रिकेट अवार्ड से भी सम्मानित किया था। विराट कोहली भी रोहित के खेल के फैन है इन्होने बोला था कि ;अगर मै नॉन स्ट्राइकर पर हूँ तो मैं दिन भर रोहित की बैटिंग देख सकता हूँ। दिग्गजों के रोहित के बारे में राय -
